Arguably the biggest announcement so far is the reveal of Pikmin 4, which is coming in 2023. Sadly, the Nintendo Switch Sports golf update has been pushed back to holiday 2022. This includes Pilot Wings 64, Mario Party and its sequels, Pokemon Stadium, 1080 Snowboarding, Excitebike 64 and Goldeneye! Goldeneye is also coming to Xbox. There's great news for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion+ subscribers, as Nintendo announces additional N64 releases.
Likewise, Nintendo gave fans a look at Octopath Traveller 2, which is pencilled in for a February 2023 launch. Even more exciting is the news that Tunic is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 27. This was followed by a look at Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, which launches next year. The co-op masterpiece launches in November. As predicted, It Takes Two was also announced for Switch. UPDATE: Nintendo kicked off the September 13 Direct with a look at strategy role-playing game Fire Emblem Engage, which is coming to Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.
